Thank you for being here, and thank yoyu for supporting this work. I’m starting the Patent Process, and I’m thrilled to bring more granularity and metaphor into how we might contemplate Fascia through the lens of Epigenetics.
If you have’t grabbed a copy of Neuoraffective Somatics, I just made an EBook available HERE - 14.99 - It’s an embodied way to explore many of these themes.
To the video at hand….
🧬 What is Epigenetics?
Epigenetics is the study of how your environment, experiences, and even your ancestors’ trauma can influence the way your genes are expressed—without altering your actual DNA. Your genome is like a piano: the full set of keys (your genetic code) is always there. But it’s epigenetics that determines which keys are played—and when.
These chemical markers—often shaped by trauma, touch, culture, and lineage—act as on/off switches for gene expression. That’s why two people with similar DNA can live vastly different lives, physically and emotionally.
In this article (based on the accompanying video), I explore a deeper, embodied cosmology of genetics—rooted in Taoist philosophy, fascia, and the ancient design of the Bagua.
🧭 What If DNA Isn’t Just Code—It’s Choreography?
In this video and framework, I offer a hidden geometry of being—not metaphor, but embodiment. A structure that views your genome not as static code but as living choreography.
Let’s break it down through a Taoist trigram lens:
Genetics 101: The Taoist Trigram Frame
➊ Genotype 🧬 — What you're born with.
This is your raw DNA blueprint. It holds every potential—like a piano holding every note. Nothing has been played—yet.
➋ Phenotype 👁️ — What gets expressed.
These are your observable traits—what actually shows up. Influenced by experience, environment, and lived context.
➌ Epigenotype 🪶 — What chooses what gets played.
This is the switchboard: chemical tags that regulate gene expression. Shaped by touch, trauma, culture, lineage. They orchestrate how your personal song is performed.
In Taoist trigrams:
Bottom line = Genotype (Earth)
Middle line = Phenotype (Human)
Top line = Epigenotype (Heaven)
Solid lines (Yang) = clockwise spin.
Broken lines (Yin) = counterclockwise spin.
Movement is meaning.
🌀 The Ninth Extraordinary Vessel
Most acupuncturists recognize 8 extraordinary vessels in the body. I work with a ninth—not mapped by meridians, but by geometry.
This vessel isn’t on charts.
It activates when the Lo Shu square becomes a spiral.
It emerges through Wu Wei—effortless action, quantum grace, the geometry of unfolding.
🕸️ This Is More Than Energy Work
Your body is not broken.
It’s encoded.
Your fascia loops.
Your breath spirals.
Your trauma repeats.
Until it doesn’t.
This is a way of reading the body—not to label or fix it—but to understand its choreography. Its harmony. Its resonance.

Let the patterns land in your body.
Feel the Bagua not as an abstract map—but as a living system inside you.
